The European Union adopts the fifth round of sanctions. This includes a ban on any Russian and Belarusian road transport, preventing them from transporting goods by road within the EU, including in transit. The EU has given carriers from Russia and Belarus until April 16 to leave. The EU has made an exception for vehicles transporting products, such as pharmaceutical, medical, agricultural and food products, including wheat and for road transport for humanitarian purposes.
